Eventuri Carbon intake system for Toyota GR Corolla

The Eventuri sports intake system is made entirely from the highest quality carbon.
The system provides improved performance, faster throttle response, and a distinctive sound.

Filtration and Construction

Unlike many intake system manufacturers that use standard filters, we have developed a unique filter design that provides optimal performance parameters thanks to a patented reverse configuration, supported by extensive research and development efforts and investments. The filter material is made from a non-woven mesh tested according to ISO 5011 and meets the requirements set for factory-installed filters. The mesh consists of two layers and is completely dry, meaning there is no risk of damaging the mass airflow sensor due to oil contamination. The filters include two cones that direct airflow as described below: 

1. Inner Cone – facilitates the direction of incoming air through the filter and ensures a uniform airflow velocity profile along the entire length of the filter material. The cone ensures efficient airflow through the filter without disturbances.
2. Outer Cone – machine-made with a unique profile and optimal shape that facilitates airflow inward, downward towards the cone, and smooth flow into the further intake pipes. The cone creates a controlled area of flow disturbances around the outlet tip, ensuring convergent airflow at high speed and an airflow profile in the pipes leading to the engine at high velocity.

Airflow

The airflow through the filter and the air outlet from the intake system to the connecting pipe to the engine is smooth and occurs at high speed. In practice, this means that the engine has the ability to draw in air very effectively, which translates to a quicker response when the throttle is opened, as well as an increase in engine power and torque. In the case of turbocharged engines, due to lower airflow resistance, it is possible to achieve peak boost earlier. Tests have shown that our intake systems significantly reduce the throttle cycle of exhaust gases compared to factory-installed systems.

The following diagrams illustrate CFD (computational fluid dynamics) simulations of the flow lines and velocity distribution for the system with the new and original filter.

Improvement of Parameters

Tests of Eventuri intake systems with original and new filters on the dynamometer showed an increase in engine power and torque. This allowed us to verify our theoretical models and prove that the new, improved filters significantly affect airflow through the intake system. The power increase compared to the original filters depends on the vehicle. Below are the results of measurements conducted so far. These graphs show a comparison of the Eventuri intake system with the original and new filter. Results for factory intake systems were not compared, for which the improvement in parameters will be even greater.
